Working towards a flat belly; am I on track?
I am 14 years old, 5′5 and have a little problem; my stomach! I’m trying to get it flat, and have a little over a month before school starts, so if I could by then, that would be ideal.
I am dieting and exercising, and want to know, am I on the right track to a flat stomach and maybe some definition?
I started my exercise Tuesday, and have been gradually working into a healthy diet. So far this week, my diet and exercise has been:
**TUESDAY**
Breakfast: Slept through.
Lunch: Sesame seed bagel with ham and turkey, WATER.
Snack: Handful of popcorn
Dinner: Pork roast, green beans, salad, bread, water.
EXERCISE: -1/2 mile run, 15 minute home gym weight machine (15 lbs), 30 lunges, 30 chair lunges (one foot on chair, lunge down), 100 sit ups, 10 minute ab workout, 100 jumping jacks, 1 hr. basketball (shooting hoops)
**WEDNESDAY**
Breakfast: (slept through, AGAIN! changing sleeping habits!)
Lunch: 2 scrambled eggs, no added salt, one piece of toast, no butter, water
Snack: None
Dinner: Spaghetti with corn and salad, Water
EXERCISE: 3/5 mile run, 20 minute weight training, 30 squats, 30 varifiated squats, 10 minute ab workout.
**THURSDAY**
Breakfast: Toast with peanut butter and strawberry perserves, 2 cups milk.
Lunch: Small salad
Snack: some cereal peices, honey nut cheerios. 2 glass of milk.
Dinner: Grilled chicken breast, salad, bread, water.
EXERCISE: Run 3/4 mile, half hour home gym, 20 minute ab workout, 150 jumping jacks, 1 hour sports (for fun!), 30 chair lunges, 30 regular lunges, 10 jump lunges, 1 minute wall-sit, 25 squats, 25 variated squats.
Am I on the right track? Am I doing too much? Should My diet change? thank you so much!

well its good to work out and its GREAT that you’re not on a crash diet. thats what girl tend to go to these days and its sad. you can find websites that have charts that show the amount of calories you burn for different activities, keep track of that to make sure you’re not over doing it and burning too many calories
