We just bought an old-fashioned popcorn maker (you know, the kind with the kettle that uses oil and raw corn kernels…)

On the advice of the store clerk, we didn’t buy the orange-colored butter-flavored oil.

At home, we used sunflower oil and also light vegetable oil, but I was wondering what the best (and safest!) oil was. Olive? Peanut? Safflower? Grapeseed? What have you tried?

I want to buy one for a room i am redoing! i like the old fashioned looking black ones! I want to find one that is not too expensive!! Links please:)
